At Coastal Classic Creations®, we use stabilizing ingredients that support texture, consistency, and comfort in our formulations. Each component is selected for purity, performance, and compatibility with the skin.

Certified organic, non-GMO cornstarch provides natural absorbency to help reduce excess moisture and shine, while aluminum-free baking soda contributes to balanced pH and gentle deodorizing benefits. Hydrolyzed wheat protein enhances hydration and softness in both skin and hair. Ozokerite, a mineral-based wax, supports structural stability by helping emulsions remain smooth and uniform.

Our powder-based formulations rely on additional minerals and emollient stabilizers that enhance slip, blendability, and adherence to the skin. Zinc stearate improves binding and helps powders apply smoothly. Boron nitride contributes silky glide and a soft-focus finish. Caprylic/capric triglyceride and octyldodecyl stearoyl stearate provide lightweight emollience that supports even, comfortable application, while bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2 acts as a conditioning binder that maintains cohesion and texture integrity.

Other functional stabilizers help maintain the quality and feel of our products across various formats. Polyisobutene creates a cushioned, smooth texture and improves glide and wear. Octyl palmitate adds light emollience, supporting a silky, even finish. Menthone glycerin acetal provides a refreshing cooling effect and contributes to temporary plumping benefits in lip formulations. Glycerine and hyaluronic acid act as humectant stabilizers, drawing moisture to the skin to support softness and maintain a smooth, hydrated texture. Botanical agents such as soybean oil flower and aloe vera leaf extract offer conditioning and moisture-retentive benefits that help keep formulations balanced and comfortable on the skin.

All stabilizing components we use are cosmetic-grade, well-studied, and recognized for their safety in leave-on formulations, including lip care. Each ingredient is selected for its gentle performance, compatibility with sensitive skin, and long-standing use in modern cosmetic science.
